Heater/AC control.

Afternoon all,
I have an 07 Freelander 2 HSE model.
When I turn the control knob for Heat or AC nothing comes out, even at full blast, the lights on the knob light up but it just keeps going round and round if I keep turning.
Any help would be much appreciated.

A Freelander 2 HSE has duel zone climate control.
Are you talking about the booster fan speed override knob just rotating round and round? That's normal, as it has graduated lights indicating the set override speed.
If you press the button in the centre on that knob, the control module going into automatic mode, and sets everything up to provide the cooling or heating as required by the left and right temperature control knobs.

If it doesn't work as described in the handbook, then there's a electrical or mechanical fault in the heater assembly, requiring a diagnostic be run on the HVAC module
