Hi,we are doing the same sort of thing ,3.9 v8 lump allready fitted in but not plumbed in, efi and inlet were not on the engine when we bought it, but came with su carbs and inlet manifold which we have now fitted ,just a case of fuel suply and wireing a coil ,not hard but still have to wire...

Just got me rr running for the first time well was a rr now got landy body on her with 3.9 su carbs. Fired it up last night set the timing got it ticking over nice, revved the arse off it throttle stuck open and wouldnt switch off from the key so i pulled main feed ht lead off and nearly blew me...

Has anyone got a roll cage for a series Landy. Its got RR 3.9 with carbs and i need throttle linkage aswell seem to be like hens teeth.:(

Has anyone got a RR with carbs and could send me picture of the top of there engine please. Would be appriciated.:)

still aint running yet got abit to do; fuel tank and all hoses, connect all brake linings, fit bckt seats, exhaust so coming out top. Carbs finishing and setting up, snorkel fitting and cooling hoses. Just a couple of things...:(

iv still got me mk3 16v coilovers performance exhaust 17'bbs rc's in dragon green. not the best dub in the world much prefer mk2s dont we all. And iv got a t4 caravelle dropped 60 mm on 17' rh cups,looks cool use it to pull me landy. turnin in to ed38....oops

Alright dubs, iv had a few vws aswell still have. I fancied a change so got me self a landy feels strange not being so close to the ground, iv raised mine i usually go the other way.:rolleyes:

Hi there, just bought an off roader, rangey 3.9 carbd engine Landy body. Im after the throttle linkage which links the 2 webbers. Has anyone got a picture of the top of there engine they could send us as to where everthing goes.(dont ask for much ay!):rolleyes:

Hi there Rob and Wez here we have just bought a off roader range rover 3.9 engine and gearbox, disco chassis and Land Rover body. It was a un finished project which basically needed all engine anciliraies and interior. New to this so thought we would join for some advice. Cheers.:)
