I've replaced the tailgate regulator and it works really well. Just, when I have the engine off and I close the tailgate door, the glass goes down .. (it's getting pretty annoying to have to turn the engine on to up the window after everytime I go in the boot.) There must be a sensor...

(Thankyou both very much for your input) FIXED: Just turn the Engine on! for some reason (i guess slightly higher amperage?) it initially needs the engine on to go up.. now it works perfectly!!!!!!! yay. Although it is slightly on the wonk.. I guess i'll level it and re-calibrate

OK thanks Nodge, I suspected there wouldn't be a way. It goes down after shutting the door (with engine running and without) sometimes when i press the rocker switch it goes up with the engine running, but sometimes it just refuses. I can hear the electric 'bump' inside the rear door everytime...

Morning all, millions of threads about tailgate window problem, tried re-calibration but motor only ups the window 1 time in 100. I got it to the slightly down position and removed the fuse- perfect. But now it beeps the horn when I lock it. Can this be disabled?
