Freelander 1 not starting after brake pad clean!(????)

TD4 2.0 2006 Freelander1

After cleaning and greasing brake pads (which i've done before) i'm now getting the 3amigos AND engine malfunction. there is a "tick" sound when i try to start the engine, but its not turning over.

I'm gonna go check it's not a battery issue, but could it be an immobiliser/ issue from being up on the jacks?

Sounds like flat battery, did you leave ign on or doors open?
