I just measured the voltage on the MAF for CO Trim and it was around 3V. The car does neither have cat nor lambda sensors. Could this be the reason, why it only makes 8-9 mpg? How can i reduce the CO trim, do I need to open the MAF?

almost no rust. the previous owner kept it the last 11 years in the garage. so even the sun did not do too much damage. Its fun to drive, a bit like a tractor. Thanks to it being a manual, driving will never be boring as there is a lot of shifting to be done.

Thanks. IT is a D1, three door, seems to be basic trim, no fancy things like ABS or Airbags. Fuel consumption is horrible. 9 mpg with a light foot. I assume there are issues with the ECU. Hope to find somebody on here who can give me a few hints to locate the issue. :-)
