Just had a closer look I think that’s a position encoder not a chip Chips don’t have moving parts

It’s a lot smaller than that perhaps 4mm square, the fault just say can bus which I think you know covers the whole system if one data packet is interrupted you get this quite a hard one to find. The rear sensors should be here Monday or Tuesday I’ll see what happens.
