You guys have a wealth of information I just need to find the bit that’s relative to me at the mo.
I feel like screaming sometimes do you think they over complicated these cars with under engineer parts
You are right about that, the electronics are crap. Look behind the trim in the left side rear quarter for wet/damp connectors and modules. Water ingress is a common problem even completely corroding pins off the connectors and because so many things are linked on the CAN-BUS system a non critical item failing can affect critical items.

Nowt wrong with electrics, mind you the water seals could have stood a coat of looking at. :D:D

It’s a lot smaller than that perhaps 4mm square,

the fault just say can bus which I think you know covers the whole system if one data packet is interrupted you get this quite a hard one to find.
The rear sensors should be here Monday or Tuesday I’ll see what happens.

What's 4mm square? the picture I posted is the inside of an L322 height sensor with no chip. yes there may be one in the ECU (if that's what you are saying)

Do you clear the can bus error and it comes back, or have you not cleared it?

The youtube video says your diag does NOT do airsuspension.

I have two new rear height sensors coming early next week that will be all four replaced I think that’s a good starting point as three of them was broken or the casing damaged allowing water ingress.
The rear quarter panel you mentioned could you possibly expand on the location.

I think long haul this one

Left side of the boot where the Sat Nav unit resides.
