Because I have been quoted £1200 for the pump and fitting and then there’s the risk that the metal filings will have travelled through to the injectors (I’ve already replaced 2 at £700) it would mean flushing the system too. Not prepared to waste any more money.

That’s a great idea and good advice on the insurance and MOT! I will start with the ‘one up’ wheel test, cheers. I know that the tires are ok as they have been on and pressures checked regular since buying the vehicle (4 months ago) and there has been no issue with those thanks for your help.

Yeah the Viscous Coupling is what is worrying me! Is there a way to remove the rear prop and just run it as a two wheel temporary until I can replace the Viscous?

Hey, thanks. It is the 2.0 TD4 06. The brakes have been sticking a little on the back of late when I release the handbrake. Maybe they are sticking on as the car warms up as it seems to be sporadic when driving. Cheers

Hi mate, just to update you and say thanks! I took the F1 to a Diesel specialist and had two new injectors replaced (fortune) and touch wood it seems to be running a lot better! All the Best.

Cheers buddy. The interesting thing is that there is no light on the dash but I took it in for inspection because it’s spitting some diesel onto the floor on startup at times and it’s smoking a little and runnning lumpy on tickover. Almost like the injectors are an issue...
