Morning all. my fuel cooler rad is leaking and I’ve sourced a replacement, is there any special things that I need to know before replacing. Does the system need bleeding etc ??

Hi All, on my '77 series 3 in 2 wheel drive in reverse on wet grass etc (nothing too taxing) one of the rear wheels spins (drivers side RHD) and i don't get a lot of traction . 2 and 4 wheel drive (as in the selection) works fine..is this normal ? or do i need to jack it up and get dirty !!!!

Morning Campers On my series 3 2,25 diesel the top of the thermostat is cracked...not the actual body but the top part where the radiator hose is attached....apparently is is a discontinued part..anyone know where I can find a replacement ??? Thanks

As i have recently crossed from the Darkside...Aircooled engines...i have never had to deal with Radiators etc...having recently flushed and replaced the hoses and heater on my series 3 i am now faced with refilling the cooling system..and the web is not much help. is it a case of 'topping up'...

thanks i have tried re threading but did not work... i will need to go up in size and i am concerned re drilling the thermostat housing

Recently purchases a series 3 2.25 Diesel (1977) and when cleaning up the engine bay the leak from the thermostat was because one of the bolts has stripped... has any one used loctite thread repair or will i have to re thread...(have tried to rethread the same size but the bolt still...

On removing my very leaky sump today i noticed that the bolts had a rubber sleeve..most had perished (not sure of the actual word for the rubber things) when looking for replacement bolts the ones that i have seen dont have those sleeves?? any advice...can i simply change the gasket and bolt it...
