Started to diagnose why my td4 decided to stop starting. Thinking/hoping it's just filters but afraid it maybe more along the lines of high pressure pump :(

does anything happen or sound when you press the boot unlock button?

if the main sticking point is the pressure,then why not fit the motor from a fl2 headlight washer system to a small separte bottle, and only power it when the headlights are on. everyone would be happy then surely?

+1 to this, put a drop of water on each sensor. the one that doesnt tick or click (it is subtle you need to be right next to them) will be the one thats failed

sorry if its been suggested before but have you checked the boost boost pressure sensor or boost solenoid or what ever its called?

broke my rear boot/door lock, then promptly disassembled and fixed it. and sorted where my new shiny lights will be going, ANNNDD ordered some nice chunky at tyres :D

Fixed it. Took the lock off the actuator (the white thing I think) was fine, it looks like the white plastic part on the lock wasn’t ‘catching’ the metal part, also seemed like part of it was rusted at the top of the lock. Should have taken pics but for now the lock seems to be...well locking :)
