Morning all, Looking at putting a set of 19" early RR sport wheels onto my Supercharged vogue . Does anyone know if they will fit with the Brembo brakes. Thanks as always....

Swapped wheels around and still the same front discs are fine and new pads installed.

I'm fairly convinced it's the outer cv joint.

No all tyres are good and pressures correct.

No vibration at idle, Car runs perfect. Hoping to get it to a large carpark tomorrow to do a lock to lock turn and listen for any strange knocks while moving.

Wheels are ok and not buckled, As I said it doesn't happen all the time and if I am on a straight road it seems fine just when I go around a corner it seems to appear soon after but doesn't continue if I accelerate and then slow down. Very strange.

Yes had a good look underneath and nothing obvious all ball joints etc look good, no obvious knocking from or play in the cv joint but its the only thing I can think off as it doesn't appear all the time.

Ok update on the vibration. Wheels swapped front to back still getting a vibration but seems to be worse if I go round a corner then when it straightens up I get the vibration soon after. It goes away if I accelerate so im thinking front outer CV joint. cant hear any knocking coming from the...

Actually they are 35 profile its never been on a school run and I don't care about bling, I bought the car with the wheels on it. :)

Ok loads of replies as to why not to have 22" wheels but wasn't my choice they were already on the car. Don't think its a wheel or tyre issue as it only happens when the vehicle has warmed up. and doesn't happen all the time.

Thanks, Planning on changing the tyres round to rule that one out. I'm thinking possible CV joint as jacked it up and no play in the wheel bearing.

Personally I think it's the gasket and will probably look at that first. Garage mentioned that they will price up for the worst and hope for the best

Thanks for all the replies. If it helps garage mentioned a lot of soot at the back of the manifold. I have a stethoscope so will give that a try. And sorry holiday chicken I don't think you will be getting it .

Went to garage today to get exhaust checked. Suspect either leaking gasket or cracked manifold on L322 SC 4.2. Question is as the car heats up to normal temperature the fluff fluff noise goes away so I'm thinking gasket as metal expands the gasket is being sealed. What's the thoughts on this...
