Discovery td5 series 2 for sale

Offers for this car please. Gearbox or torque converter is leaking and I've had enough of fixing it so it's going to the highest bidder. Reg v64epr if that helps. Hope this is the right forum.

Disco 2 TD5 "hunting" under load - hopefully Ive posted in the right place this time!!

Neither me or my mechanic are any the wiser over this problem. Under normal road running i.e. steady moving away from stop to 50mph plus, the disco runs as normal. When under load such as going up a hill or accelerating, the old boy starts to "hunt" for power and waivers between 2.5 - 3k revs...

TD5 "hunts" for power between 2.5 and 3k revs under load

Thanks. Can anyone recommend someone with the right diagnostic kit. My mechanic has a basic set up but not the top Land Rover kit. Don't really want to pay main dealer prices!!
