I’m after some advice on which radiator to fit for a V8 conversion. The original radiator bottom hose outlet fouls on the engine pulley. Has anybody fitted a different rad or have any advice on how to clear the pulley please?

Hi, I am after some advice regarding fitting an exhaust to a SWB series V8 with an LT77 / LT230. I have just found the right manifold to clear the steering arm and have solved that dilemma, the next one is which way to route the exhaust. And ideas or photos would be appreciated.

Thank you for the replies, the steering bar sits over the chassis and the track rod end fouls the manifold. I have attached another photo taken from the top to show the manifold and the steering arm. It looks like I need a different set up.

I am after some advice on the best solution regrading how to adapt the steering box using a Rover v8 in a series 2 as the manifold does not have any clearance. The manifold is off a discovery 3.9, not sure if I need to use a different manifold set up. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I am having the same dilemma, I bought a Defender LT77 gearbox and V8 adapter ring however the gearbox fouls on the Discovery clutch bolts. Is it just a case that I need to buy a new defender Tdi clutch and get the flywheel drilled to take the Tdi clutch?

I am having the same issue in finding a good secondhand series 2a one, can you send some pictures of the conversion? Does everything fit back as it should?
