    I tend to use graphite dry spray for locks, which is non sticky and doesn’t clog up the workings, may be worth a dry.

    Thought it had changed, they always were 10yrs, as the expiration date stayed the same and think you could apply 9 months early, now if you apply early the expiration is 10yrs from when you apply, so it is never 10yrs, good increased income generator

    Think Lucas stuff is all made in china, so very much doubt would be oem and certainly no guarantee it would be any good, used power spark in the past without problems but unsure where things are sourced from

    Not sure about others but Ifor Williams have a database of owners but not sure how it is updated, believe the chassis number is laser cut into it, so don’t think removing the plate wouldn’t help

    Mine don’t have a number on the “key” but there is an original sticker with the number on the first plastic page in the handbook; only any good if you have it though☹️

    Yes ran two in the seventies/early eighties, one this colour replaced by another in limestone? so nearly 40yrs since I have been in a 2 door RRC, for some reason I don’t seem take many photos of my motors but any are probably in boxes up the loft after many moves

    I know it is very personal, but the new one isn’t done any favours in that colour, the original on the other hand brings back fond memories of mine in that colour
