Whilst putting new runners on the tail one of the window heating contacts came unstuck from the window, see left-hand contact on photo. Question: is there an electrical contacting glue I could use to stick contact to glass or any other work around? Thanks

I have been getting a noise on my F L 1 facelift similar to the exhaust contacting the bodywork when turning sharp left and right. The weather is now a bit cooler so I had a crawl underneath, all exhaust mountings in good condition but but a lot of play in the VCU rubber mountings which I reckon...

I noticed these foggy mornings that the driver's door mirror did not clear condensation, removed the mirror and one of the heater contacts has come adrift:( Is it possible to solder back or is there another way the contact can be reattached? Or do I buy new:eek:

Hi All, I've searched and found a very good "How to" on IRD drive shaft seal renewal. Local Stratstones charge around £20 inc VAT for the seal whereas a google search shows a cost of around £8. Common part No UNG 100060L so advice, which is the best seal do I buy from dealer or off the web? Thanks

I have just fitted a tow bar and wish to fit the flasher audible beeper. I would like to avoid using scotch- loks which in my opinion look untidy so can a more tidy wiring solution and beeper be recommended. Thanks and I have searched the forum............!

I have searched................... and I've had the 56 plate Freestyle 4 weeks. The central locking works ok but the lights don't flash when you hear the locks engage. Any guidance on what may be the problem? Many thanks

Taking delivery of a 2006 Freelander 1 tomorrow, 108k miles. All the windows work without making a noise and the VCU seems ok, what other areas of the car should I be looking at to carry preventative maintenance? I live near Pontypool S Wales so let me know if there are any meets or events...
