A minor detail but I'd like to get it right.
See photos of air inlet duct retaining screws; one is missing and the other is not doing a lot! I am interested to know what the original fitting looked like

Hi, I had the same problem with mine when I got it 3 1/2 yrs ago, it took my local LR dealer weeks to get a part no. for it as it didn't show up on the parts list.
The part no. is AWR5619 but it's now discontinued :mad:.(I wish I'd got 2 or 3 of them now) As it's fairly brittle I would have thought LR would keep stock available.
The pics. are of what was left of mine when I got it & notes I made at the time. I can take a picture of the whole bit tomorrow if you want, let me know, otherwise if you google it Brit car have a out of focus picture of it on their website. Best of luck with your search.

OK, toy may or may not like this, as it's a bit Heath Robinson, but on mine I packed the hole with numerous gromits, and secured it with a new self taper, and a penny washer.

when mine were fitted .. the screws were a bit awry ..
think one were missing ..
were easy to replace them from bolts 'n what not found in my various stashes
```````````````````````````````
much prefer the mod. .. releasing it from the filter box .. be one clip-screw to undo
`````````````````````````````````
also used bolts that self tapped perfectly .. to block various holes in the filter box
only kool air in for my td4 ;-] .. no preheated oily engine bay air thanx ..
every little bit helps .. ;-]]

Andy, thanks for reply and photo, I thought it would be a screw and washers. A photo of the correct fitting will be appreciated, it's a sunny day tomorrow!
