Thanks Neil, Yeah, mine is through seepage, I have to add half a quart bottle inbetween my 5,000 mile changes, my engine sounds strong never had an issue with it tbh, she had 81,000 on her when I bought her at 9 yrs old, I've put 90,000 on her in the almost 7 yrs I've had her, been up and down...

I have had my 2002 V8 Disco getting on for 7 yrs, I have been getting the oil changed every 5,000 miles and use Mobil One 10w 40, I've recently been told not a good idea, she has 170,000 on her and seems fine, and uses very little oil between changes. Any thoughts please?.

I have a automatic V8 4.0 Disco II, The transmission overheat light comes on almost as soon as I crank her up, it started coming on about 18 months ago in hot weather/stop and go traffic, it would go out once I got up to highway speeds, I had the tranny checked and serviced, they found nothing...

I have a regular ARB Bullbar (See pic) with a winch mounted in it. So are you saying so long as I keep my winch mounted in it, it will not be a problem?
