Hi, i have done the new rachet type resvoir ,did it last year ,and ive now fitted the prt ,reading the theory about the thought behind it ,it should help,they fit it to the last of the mgf's and one or two elise owners have fitted it,will keep you posted ,mines done 58k but landrover dealer...

hi got a 1998 freelander k series love it to bits ,heard about the cooling mod,PRT stat and pipe work,anybody fitted it and if so how,i recon if ford have investigated and designed this to stop warranty claims for hgf,there must be something in itany info welcome cheers peter

thanks for reply,i took the rear pass unit off and replaced with an ebay special and hey presto!!it now works on second push of remote like other pass doors,the drivers will lock and clicks to unlock so i presume it is a dicky lock mech so will try and source one ,2 down sunroof to go any help...

freelander 1.8 1998,drivers door c/lock ,locks off of remote but won't un lock,rear passenger door c/lock takes 3 pushes of remote,and finally,bloody sunroof won't work ,it try's from drivers side drive but i think the slide is knackered,so in effect one side of the roof doing all work and...

cheers will check tomorrow,just had it checked at a garage and the judder i have been experiencing appears to be the clutch,jesus ! only had car 7 days,but i still love it,the rear door lock does seem slow ,must a solenoid ,will wait till cash flow improves,your knowledge seems vast ,i can see...

hi, had f/lander 5 days,so many problems,judder on take off in first gear and reverse,central locking ,first push on fob opens driver door,second push opens pass front and one rear door ,third push drivers side rear door opens any ideas,also sometimes traction control,abs and hdc light come on...

snap, mines sometimes iffy in reverse,spoke to a dealers technician ,he said the hose mod is a good idea,and also he reccomended a later model reservior bottle and cap ,some thing to do with a lower pressure less temp?only costs £10 all in so i'll fit that too,part numbers,lpcd000090...
