    I have one fitted..(Kenwood Head unit), I started with a windscreen stick on aerial ( I had no FM aerial) which was ok ish but when I changed the windscreen for a heated one I fitted a AM/FM aerial in the wing and bought an aerial splitter, Kinetic 7001 from Dab on wheels.. Its working very well...

    Is the sender still making contact when it gets to a 1/4 of the way up it's scale? Mine was very worn so I just replaced it with a new one..

    Do you have a switch on the row of 3 near the drivers door that does the interior light? this also does the dash lights on some older models...

    I'm thinking of replacing mine as they are a bit faded and crusty and I was going to paint them as they will look better and be easier to maintain than the rough plastic... I will be watching to see how you do yours.

    I also got an agreed value with A-Plan insurance, £12k for a 1993 200tdi defender 90, just provided photographs. It has been rebuilt on a galvanised chassis.

    I'm interested in this also... The Allisport do look a cut above any others I've seen but as you say the price is a bit on the steep side but I suppose you get what you pay for.

    I have read on the Marsland site : The TD5 rear crossmember is the same size and shape but has the large hole for trailer socket, and the tow bar mounting holes are slightly different.     Hello I want to fit a tow bar on my 90 200tdi. It has a Marsland galvanised chassis. I have had a look online and under my LR and the brackets on the chassis don't look the same as mine has ARB brackets fitted.. Will the tow bar still fit to these holes? Thanks
