    Discovery won't start! Help!

I had the same problem tonight. Missus brought the car back from pony world, and abandoned it with the trailer still attached, cos it wouldn't start. Took the lappy outside, found this thread, got my LR tool kit out (hammer and crow bar) gave it a good wack and hey presto. So Thanks very much...

Holmfirth in a td5 with side steps!

Hmmm, yes, Good advice. Probably solo driving to a much lower standard than capable to keep out of trouble. Just put Billing on the Calendar today, so maybe I'll be a bit braver in the right environment. Cheers.

Hi Paul, Yes that was my guess. that at the time the booklet was published, the description was probably right. But now the lane is wrecked apart from anyone with about double axle extensions. Still gave me something to talk about. Thanks.

Wandering around - Radius Arm Bush?

Hi Dave, Sounds like good advise too me. 5mm plus movement can't be right, can it, under and load situation. I feel that its almost like as the rear diff load changes due to the cabre of the road then the slack changes...

Wandering around - Radius Arm Bush?

Good evening all, I have a TD5 2002 disco whic has recently had Track rod end and steering box replaced so steering is pretty good. I feel that it still wanders around a bit and supect the Radius arm bushes that connect to the chassis of the car. I've put a brick infront and behind the wheel i...

    td5 TC problems ?

Many thanks, I think you make a good point Yes, I was creeping up pretty slowly. as the top was a bit of a saddle which i wanted to hit square in the middle. so I guess up to three wheels were slipping in the clay, but I suppose I was surpised that the one rear wheel didn't seem to be doing any...
