It does not crank over or click, I think it is something to do with the electrics as I have discovered the main headlights don't come on when the lights lever is pushed fully forward but the sidelights will come on when pushed only halfway.

The ignition won't turn over, the car won't start when jump starting it with cables but it will start jump starting when being pulled. Is there a simple explanation? Also the side lights will come on but the main headlights will not.

oh wow that actually looks good, most defenders I've seen with seats that have been fitted other than factory fitted don't look very good

I'm also in the process of fitting seats in the back but can't decide on bench seats or the side facing flip up seats

That would be great to send some pictures once it is fitted, after doing some research if the bull bar has space for a winch and has a winch, it is then not classed as a bull bar so is therefore legal although please feel free to correct me.
