Sorry discool, I mean the spider bypass is workin as if I unplug it there's no 12 volt soilenoid supply.

Gazebo Thanks for that, think I'm gettin somewhere now u mentioned that. Sometimes I turn the key and nothing as if the battery's flat, then others times it starts first time. I know the spiders working as if I disconnect it I've got nothin. Do u think a new ignition would sort it.

Flossie/ discool thanks for the replys. I've tested the voltage at the ign while cranking an it drops to 9 volts on both yellow and white wires. I fired it up tested again running 14 volts. Looks like the relays the way to go :mad:

discool I've soldered a wire from ignition position two wire where it enters Fuse board, I've got 12 volts at pump solinoid wire ,glow plug relay working. Still won't fire up, tested the wire while cranking over only 9 volts, I'm guessing This isn't enough to open the solinoid. Put a direct 12...

Put the stonechip on before the seamseal dried, gonna get some of that It'll never rot again lol.

Mines blanked off with a two pence piece fits perfect in the flanged end lol.

Thanks James, I did wonder whats the point of a outer seal when the halfshafts Got a gasket on. It did have the stub axle seal in, had to take that off aswell As part of the bearin was seized on it lol.

Thanks for that neilly, the only part that looks different Is 16 mines a thin washer, but says its up to 1998. It's all gone together ok Minus the outer seal lol ???

Changing the rear wheel bearings today, the lr shop I had the bearing kit off said only one seal was Reqd in the rear of the hub but I've taken two out front and rear?.. any info would be great thanks.

Cheers spacedawg,had to knock inner part of the bearin off hub it was solid. It looks ok, drove home from Wales on m54 it don't bear thinkin about lol.

Took the hub off an the bearings fell to bits, thanks for the help guys

Hi guys havin a look at this today, started squeaking few days ago followed by a metallic grinding Noise. Thinking the halfshaft any info would be great thanks Dave.
