Any ideas on this one. Freelander 2 Manual 2011. If i use reverse and then move away in 1st gear on the first use of the brakes after that i get a clunk from the front of the car. Only once . does not happen again until i do the reverse and move away sequence .

Hi all. Why is this lambda sensor in such and impossible location? Is the only way to remove it to remove the exhaust manifold.. Any trick ways of getting it out appreciated .

I was looking at fuel pumps a how to change etc. I think mine is not well... Any way took the inspection plate off to take a look . Hello All I had the Freelander cut out on me a couple of times recently. Suspect the Inertia switch or crank sensor after reading the forums. New Inertia switch is on order . As for the crank sensor it looks like the one on mine is a a dummy and just a blanking connector in the bell housing...

Given a Freelander 1 1.8 petrol Does not seem to over heat so hoping head gasket is good. Lots of creaking from underneath and the odd clunk. Suspect the Diff mounts are shot. Anything else i should watch out for ? Thanks Struan :-)
