    Vents and Grilles...

Works well with the Blue of the car. I have gone for the metal vent and black screw look. I've posted in another forum as well, but looking for either a good workshop/bodyshop or good independent mechanic who is willing to take on some tasks for my Defender. I realised I have severely...

    Good Land Rover Workshop/Bodyshop

Hi everyone, Just moved into the Cheshire East area. I am looking to make some improvements to my defender, some of the larger tasks I need someone to help me with are fitting rear seats and doing some light body and paint work. Any reputable/good dealers close to Macclesfield/Congleton? I am...

    Vents and Grilles...

Anyone know where I can get this sort of thing but in the UK? http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Fits-Subaru-Nylon-Grille-Headlamp-Marker-Fender-Grommet-Bezel-Screw-Clips-Kit-/111658148373?hash=item19ff582215:g:Uw4AAOSwNSxVQQxp Apparently "grommet" is not a very UK word for this.

    Vents and Grilles...

Hah, yes indeed. At this rate I will need a bigger tool shed to house my tools and things, followed by a larger / another Defender to bring more tools and things home, followed by a larger shed, followed by ....

Very good point re more use for this later on, especially as I am attempting some other bits as well (I would say doing, but I am not super mechanically minded but having a go). Getting some of these ...

Thanks for the quick response. What size threaded inserts did you buy? I have not thought about drilling the pin holes larger, but might have to do that, although I prefer not to. Unfortunately I do not have a box'o'spares with these so have to order online :)

    Vents and Grilles...

Hello everyone ... Recently got myself a new side vent (meal with holes). Once I pried off the old side plastic vent I realised there were holes to screw the plate in to, however the previous plastic vent left its "needle" bits in it as it broke off. Does anyone know what size / type of small...

    TD5 ECU Remap - Experiances?

Hi - Yep, bog standard. I do not know what the type of remap it was, Mike (the guy from Dynachip) will be able to tell you. Price on his site is £250 I think or thereabouts.

    TD5 ECU Remap - Experiances?

Hey - I know this post is old but for anyone else coming across this ... I had my 2007 TD5 remapped 2 days ago by Mike from DynaChip (http://www.dynachip.co.uk/). I was so impressed with the service I said I would post a review somewhere, so this is it ... He was very quick to respond to my text...

Virbration when decelerating and Gearbox rattle in 5th

Hi, Crickey, thought I'd resurrect an ancient post ... I am getting the same thing on my Defender 90 TD5. Decelerating (basically just taking my foot of the accelerator) and when the speed gets to ~50mph in 5th there is this nasty shudder/rattle for a few seconds. I have managed to get the same...

Hello everyone, I am a first time Land Rover owner. Recently got myself a Defender 90 TD5 (2007 model) with 50,000 miles on it. So far, really happy with it and already blowing my imaginary budget with some tweaks ... Looking forward to learning a thing or 2 from the more experienced members on...
