Yes the key works to open and the fob and key locks it. Was hoping it would be an easy fix.

That's great, please let me know how you get on. Found one guy on youtube changing his lock but unfortunately he should have had a camera man instead of trying to film whilst doing the repair

My drivers door lock has stopped opening with the fob but locks. I can hear the lock working on the first press of the fob. Looking at removal it appears you need 2left arms and a flexible neck, anyone got any tips for removal and replacement?

Thanks, hopefully problem for me is fixed. The old key which I had to keep for door locks may have caused the issue but this time I've popped it open and removed the original chip.
