No I guess not, I was going off of advice I got that all leather option D2s have the elements and just need switches. What is easy way to find out?

Installed heated seats switches, and I can hear them activate under seat....relays and/or fuses, etc...but no heat at all.....am I missing a step to enable them? 01 D2 SD Alpaca Leather

'01 D2 SD Can you put a heated windscreen in if it was not an option on your model? I see 2 connectors empty in the drain channel under the windscreen? Is that what these are for? or are they for heated washer jets? Can you simply plug in a heated windscreen and thats it? or does it require ECU...

So....Can my spots be enabled in the BCU? and if so...who could do this?

Wow....awesome guys! And at the risk of being a moron...couldn't I simply wire my Hella spots into the existing wiring for my non option front bumper fogs and then just "enable them" in the BCU? Brian47 said "might require that they are enabled in the BCU." I mean...I am fine with them only...

Thank you brian47....yes I mean the top left switch on instrument binnacle, however my 01 Disco II SD did not come with the fogs mounted in the front bumper option...but I have the switch, harness, connectors under the wheel wells, etc etc so I assumed I can use this setup. Only thing I saw...

Trying to get my Hella Fogs to light up using the existing wiring, connectors, and harness but I got no juice at the bulbs! The amber LED comes on when I hit the dash switch for fogs but no 12v at the bulbs... Now, I am wondering if I saw correctly, that if your year and model did not have them...

I had same issue, V8 though....leaked but worked well when fulll......rebuilt with Gasket kit...now NO LEAK but hard steering....even after attempted bleeds...no idea here! Kit though is here.... Also, I used zero sealant, just the dry gasket....sealed up tight! not a spot in sight, so nice...

I got the following issues... - An '01 Disco II (this is a serious problem) - the three amigos (chronic, very chronic) - Drivers side power mirror does not work - Shifter knob will not go lower than D (like hitting a wall) - rear window wiper very slow (motor on the fritz?) - Bull Bar Hellas...

Quickly discovering (no pun intended) that these things require much more than petrol and oil! Looking for help anywhere I can....
