Upgraded from Freelander to P38a now I have issues

Sorry I forgot to mention that I have done fluid, oils and filters throughout on the day I got it as never trust other people's claims of "it was done a couple of weeks back" It drive fine afterwards. I believe after yet more research that the gear issue is in fact limp mode. However I will...

Hi a ll. I'm looking for some help with an issue in my P38. When i got it, i knew it would not go into low ratio but after researching common faults on here, I purchased it anyway. After a few days I got underway investigating and was pleased to find the transfer box motor had solid grease...

What tyres do you have on your freelander

My BF Goodrich Mud Terrain 235 70 16s are great, no problems with traction control or handling. More road noise than my original road tyres but not bothered about that as they are worth the noise off road.

    Fording issue.

Went on a bit of mild green lane ing today and got to a river crossing (ford) but as soon as the clutch got underwater I lost all drive. Had nothing forward or reverse and could literally tick over in gear with no clutch down. To get back out I knocked off the engine and turned the starter...

    Air supply to air box

That looks really well. I extended mine up for now out of the same stuff as didn't have as many bends kicking around as I thought. As for the resonator- where should the air inlet be?

Abs, traction control and hdc lights on dash

Exact same issue on mine but this coincided with grinding front pads. Changed the pads and never been an issue since. 10 mins each side and 11 quid in parts plus new brakes out the way.

    Hill Descent Light

My light came on when my front pads got low....not ruined just low. Used to go off when ignition went off then back.on when I braked heavy or went off road using breaks more. New pads and 2 weeks on no light except when HD in use. Hope this helps.

    Air supply to air box

Strange issue for me this one. I decided to install a pipe from air box to flexi pipe coming out of the inner wing on my 1.8 Freelander 1 as it was awol and due to some fording and puddle chasing my airbox was getting water in and also the air going in was from directly behind the radiator...

New and looking for a part

Cheers. It's not the colour coding that I am bothered about its the preformed a bar that I like. I believe it's a V6 part but I reckon I could tweak it to fit.
