Done all the timing via the bmw tech guide ,new chains and everythink inc cam sensors and on start up im getting codes 0011 0343 ...live data says timing advance is between 0°and 16°ie jumping back fourth ...symptoms are rough idle ,i bought it cheap as timing guides had had it and bloke...

Good morning, just in middle of taking my autobox out using rave and autodata...do I have to take out the main round beam under the box as all bolts are out but struggling to move it.. The beam has the gear box mounts on it and bolts to chassis either side.. Many thanks ..

Killed another head this month ..my own fault ...bought a 2nd hand good head ...but the 1 brown water temperature sensor is 2 pin and mines 1 pin ...I understand these are diff with year of production..will it still work if the loom I have is 2 pin as well...coz it's working with 1 pin sensor...

Doing my upper and lower ball joints ...I've placed axle stands under axle ...just got my swivel hub carrier off after some trouble ...trouble is the air suspension has now lowered itself ...is there anyway of getting the eas to work on axle stands ?....now I can't get enough clearance to...

Just going to do my upper and lower suspension ball joints today and have read a few odd things about jacking up front and the placement of axle stands...I was going to jack up and use the stands under chassis rails when range is in top height. ..is this correct

Gear changes (kicking up)appear to be very late and in very high revs ..to me it doesn't feel correct ratio for speed also..new fluid and filter has been put inn..I could do with the kick up 3_4 seconds earlier if this makes sense...

Going up any slight motorway incline and engine won't rev above 3k to change gear ..so I'm stuck doin 50 mph ....I can flat out the pedal and revs don't move ...engine won't respond ...as soon as it's flats out ..engine goes back to normal with revs and gear changes....any ideas before I kick...
