ok ive been looking at modifying the exhaust on my 3.9 V8 landy, ive read a few places that removing all silencers and putting 1 cherry bomb silencer in the centre makes them sound really nice.. is this true? any one else got any opinions or experiences?

as above, looking at after market suspension and see there is 2 types of dislocation cones, whats the benefits from each? reverse - cones are attached to axle springs stay with the chassis normal - cones bolt to chassis springs stay attached to chassis is there any benefit from either?

ta for your help bushtoy, it was indeed an air lock, ive rebleed the system and it works now

i didnt mean it in a sarcastic way, didnt know ther was different types, i thought they were just filled with power steering fluid

ok ive just tested it today, it seems normal steering to the left, when turning to the right from any position it seems like there is no power steering for a second or 2, then it seems to kick in and feels normal... any ideas as its quite horrible turning left and not being able to straight away!

today i got round to fitting the new steering box! the old one when i took it off i see why i had problems with the steering (post a few weeks ago asking about slack wobbly steering) the full drop arm had loads of play on it! any way the new box is in and all seems good, only problem im finding...

i recently bought a V8 landy rover defender and every 1 i speak to ask if its converted, i say no and they all say how much more miles u get etc so im considering looking in to it. any one recommend any company's and also has any 1 got any pics of the tank installed etc? would be interested to...

ahh, there is only 2 wires one mine! the 3rd plug is blanked off with a plastic plug thing!, so maybe this one should be earthed? :confused:

if i earth the guage, the pointer goes to full, so i guess thats working ?

my fuel guage isnt working so i think the fuel sender may be broken the landy didnt used to be a V8 but that shouldn't make any difference to the sender? this is what my sender looks like just checking these are ok for petrol and if any 1 knows if its compatible with my fuel gauge? landy is...

yup will be muddy as soon as the diff is fixed. i dont see how a 200SX set up for drifting can be barry? nor a MR2 turbo.. just my opinion

what would make you think that

its raised 2" but on standard shocks. front shockers are abit past their best to. i could buy 2" longer shocks and cones and longer brake hoses but all that comes not far off the same price of a full kit again, so i figure it would be easier to buy the full kit, rather than shopping around for...

well after all the silly questions over the last week, i finally picked up my land rover 90 yesterday! so far i think its great. love it (Even tho it needs a few things sorting) its a 3.9 V8 1985 lr90 raised 2" (not sure what shocks or springs) 33" tyres tree sliders i think mod wise thats it...
