I've searched the how to, the engine forum and a generic search. 50 pages and still not sure. What weight oil does an L series 2 litre Freelander take and is there a recommended brand? And I'm assuming it's a turbocharged unit? I want to look after the car as best I can so new fluids and...

I've had my L series(?) Freelander for about a month. It's got wet, muddy, and been bounced around a bit. But the doors haven't fallen off?? Have I bought a dud?

My Freelander has 215/70 15 tyres on it. There's still plenty of life in them so even though the speedo is about 10% out I can live with that. The book settings are 26psi I believe for 195 tyres. But they look very soft at these pressures and the ride is 'squidgy' for want of a better word...

My Google fu has obviously failed me :( I can find plenty of rigid covers and covers with the skirt. I just want a centre disc. No surround.

does anyone know where I can get just the centre disk from? I have one of those chrome ring jobbies with the insert and I would quite like something different on mine. Although Tonka does still amuse :)

Took it for a spin. Ordered a new clock, insured and taxed it. Discovered some space underneath where the prop/vcu should be. But not necessarily in that order.
