thanks for kind reply. I suppose I am in a bit of a bind in that Im very rural, do need a 4x4 especially in winter but not necessarily a full time one and I now have an injury which means working on it myself isnt an option. I wont be driving it several times a week.

I can only speak for the green hardcase-a d a friend has the orange hardercase... I havent had a break in or attempted theft. But I also dont leave it parked on the road. If I leave it for a few hours while I go for an extended walk down fields and woods.... the hardcase goes on.
