You get what you pay for. I've just fitted EBC discs and green stuff pads. Much more confidence in them now and will be good for years.

Cool. If you're like me you'll be cleaning those hoses every couple of weeks. They get mucky, with turbo vapour I think, if you don't keep on top of them. Enjoy your nice motor :clap2:

Got the following fitted: 5 new Pirelli Scorpions (went the whole hog and got the spare done) EBC grooved discs Green stuff pads Also had 4 wheel alinement done. Expensive day but drives like a new car now and the brakes will hopefully last for years.

Thanks Gary Yes, did all the filters (inc the crank case) in mid 2014 along with hoses and EGR bypass. I'm pretty confident the VCU has loads of life in it as it reverses freely without tightness. I get a bit of blue smoke at start up but not major or at any other time. Haven't got...
