I know that when my clutch was done I had a similar problem and that was that the lug had been snapped off the selector fork inside the box. it seamed to go in to gear but just no drive 5th and reverse was ok as it used a different part of the selector.

Its fixed..... Took exhaust off from down pipe to cat and its fine so cut cat open removed inside and weld back together and all sorted and goes so much better.

there is loads of smoke so would not think its blocked but will get it checked anyway

The EGR has been blanked off with a unit and its got a fueling chip thing both of which have been on for 200 miles with no problems. and been removed and problem is still there.. Just having turbo removed checked changed at the moment to try that.

OK cheers guys there is no whooshing noises and I have had all of the boost pipes taken off and inspected few rub marks but no holes or splits.
