There were some fine metal particles on magnet attached to sump plug, nothing too concerning (or so i thought). Not sure about when the last time the uj's were greased - i haven't done them

I reckon a decent garage should be quoting you about 4-5 hours labour for removal and refit of replacement transfer box. It might take a bit longer I suppose if bolts are seized sheared etc.
