How do I check the fuel pressure?

Should have posted a pic, sorry! What I meant was the air filter was full of debris: sand, dust, small leaves and even a twig! So I cleaned it out the best I could and put the filter back in. Today I will start cleaning out all the pipes and let you know.....thank you for the input!

I'll check for disconnected wires, again :( The not turning over part happened last week also, after push starting it it went away. :confused: thanks for your input. Where I am in costa rica, the LR dealer or even a good LR mechanic is over 5 hours away:eek: so I need to do whatever I can before...

Yes, changed the fuel filter a little while ago. Took it for a test and the problem is still there. Matter of fact, now I can't even get it to start as it won't turn over. Oh man, it's driving me crazy!

The fuel capacity for the td5 is 7.2 liters, I had a friend pick up 5 quarts for me thinking I would be able to get to the station and top it off.... I figured the stick may read low, but it's dry

Not sure what's going on because now it won't turn over when I try to start. The strangest thing is that when I check the oil the dipstick is dry...eve though I just put 5 quarts of oil in it!!

Now I'm starting to see a little smoke from below the back of the rocker cover. Doesn't smell like oil and it's very faint but constant :eek:

If the plug in the attached photo is what your referring to, then yes it's filled with oil. Is there a way to clean it out with out replacing it? I'm way out in Costa Rica and I'm afraid getting that piece may take a while.
