Good afternoon, Just in the process of changing my swivel seals on the 300tdi. What size are the bolts that fix the swivel to the axle? and the seal retainer bolts. I know you can buy the bolts but want to put some normal headed bolts on. Cheers, Steve.

I have done this with 2k paint at work on folklifts. You shouldnt need a clear coat. 2k buffs out ok. Just have to watch out for tiny air bubbles you get in the paint, dont over roll. Paint goes off fast on the roller. I would think less thinner would be best.

cheers guys! where is best to put axle stands to make sure the body is level? also are the rear body supports supposed to be level? someone has put a cross member on here (not very well) and i did notice the the rear left support was not supporting the body before i took it off!

Hey guys! Not been on here a while but started back on my 90! I'm putting a new rear cross member on the 90 am wondering if anyone had done this with the body off. My plan is to build a jig/brace with angle iron then cut old member off! Any ideas? Cheers

oven cleaner foam! go to the pound shop! cleans anything that stuff! good for parts also!

it has an attachment at the top of the dog guard which is held on by tape at the moment so doesnt fall off! cheers.....

Hey guys! Does anyone have any pics of how a land rover dog guard fastens to the roof of a defender? I have the fixings for the bulkhead but cant work out how it attaches to the roof/headlier! thanks......:fighting2:

hey guys! can anyone tell me what year discovery thses are from? Ive been told Discovery 3 2006 but have done a search and dont think they are! Also you can get 2 types of adaptors for these wheels as far as i can see; the terrafirma one says it spaces the wheel out 53 mm for a fast road...

funny you say that! because i have sprayed my windows black and have some beavers on order! Was thinking about 21" alloys also! My defender is for road only! i see these denders from khan etc which have huge alloys on! Let the abuse begin!!! :eek:
