Just took my steering reach motor off and repaired the mounts with cable ties. Happy with the results, it now goes in & out fine & only took an hour to do, well worth doing. I had this problem with mine last week, took it to bits which it a bit fiddly but it works great now. Think they may need the read laser cleaning now & again. This would make the problem you have.

On my car a 2003 53 Range Rover Vouge it says the car comes as standard with Telephone preparation, it has a pic of a phone on the sat nav controls & the R/T button on the wheel but how do you use the phone? Do they have Bluetooth? Thanks for any help

The digi box thing sounds good, has anyone done this mod? Can't see anywhere to plug a sim card in but assume they would'nt have put the buttons on the steering wheel & nav system if it's not got phone?

Just had a look at the header tank & it seems to have a screw in plastic bit, comes from the hose you mention. Would that not be the air bleed? See pic, maybe a bit small:doh:

Thanks Mozz, sounds like a good idea to me. I'll give it a go. I did give the top hose a squeez the other day and it did feel like some air was in the hose.
