When you say gas tape, I take it your on about the PTFE type tape?

So all I will need to do then is find out what pins to bridge on the TB ECU and that should then communicate with the BeCM, which in turn would put some sort of message on the Dash, is that right?

Has anyone replaced the outer door seal, the one the runs along the top and goes from the front of the car, to the rear? Is it a hard job? and what do you use to stick it on?

I wouldn't know if has been converted to be honest, starting to bug me now!! so where would that wire go? I found a chopped off wire under the kick panel in the passenger side..... I think I need to do some serious investigation.... I want that power!! she may need it when towing her horse

I have tried this in the past, I got as far as working out I had a High line BECM.... cant remember if I have the full loom though, either way I remember plugging it in and it didn't work. It has been moved on a battery though. Ill be very interested to know how you get on if you go for it...

Yeah it all seems to be ok for now... touch wood, I think it may of more been the O rings from the heater matrix though, they were snapped in half. That said the Water pump had a bit of play in it and the O ring around the stat was perished to, so replaced all those and it seems to be as good as...

Just had a good look, there is defiantly nothing there. Ill just put it all back for now.... but I will be thinking of sorting this out soon, so any thought's would be good

I'm presuming the L button on the dash is for Low drive?? I cant find a connector for it?? On a 2.5 Diesel which is manual... would this function normally work?

I think you could be right, I plugged it in after I had the car started, I was being too impatient (or more excited) to see if the air suspension would work:doh: I did check the bulbs though they were all good. Oh well it's getting there all I need now is to find someone that can turn it off...
