Where is the most cost effective place to buy 2 new rear airbags for a P38?

Dunlops are what i've heard are best, but i'll listen to all advice on what to buy

What about the third Gen? I have been eyeing these up for a while now... I now they are expensive, but £680 = 170 a corner, is it that bad if they last a few years?

Why would you need those for driving around Kent? Unless you are going to modify the EAS sensor arms and fit longer shocks, for some serious off roading, they are a waste of money. Gen II if you must, but Dunlops do the same job for less money.

island 4x4 think mine were £120 ish? cant really remember. i only got 2 clips thinkigs it would be fine however old one were that corroded they were as thin as a pin!! order 4 ;)

My original Dunlops did about 10 years and 100k and were still in reasonable shape when I replaced them. How long do you intend keeping the car?

What are you asking me for? :D:D

I think wammers was asking me, what with it being my post

Well i was gunna sell the car, as i was doing the math on holiday and a second motor right now seemed a bit OTT... but it is a good motor and i've only had one issue, which was technically self inflicted, so with a few financial modifications on the home front, couple of work rest days, i recon i can afford to keep it after all.

In saying that, it only takes one surprise bill to change the status quo, but for now, she's a keeper.

Then why did he quote my post, which was not an answer to your post, along with the comment? :);)

Sounds like you haven't had your lie down this afternoon :p:D:D

Neither have I. It seemed to make sense in my head but you're right it doesn't look so good written down.

I meant that I agreed with Wammers point about wasting your money and then wanted to add that the cheapest (Dunlops) do seem to last a good while, longer than most folk keep a car.

I'm off for a lie down now, my typing finger hurts.
