Update: Car's been acting perfectly fine and is no longer losing power over 2200 revs even when the engine is warm. Could it be because of the filter being clogged? Or are these still common symptoms of a pump on it's way out? Dying and coming back to life again? Thanks in advance

Also, can i change only the low pressure fuel pump or is that inside the original fuel pump and it needs to be replaced altogether?

Thank you for the reply! The light hasn't come on since then, even if i rev it over 3000 rpm when it's cold. So it could actually be the low pressure pump ey? I change the fuel filter every 6200 miles so i don't know if that could be the problem, also only ever use quality diesel.

Hey guys, Started after i serviced my freelander to change the oil/filters, also a month back i crashed into a snow mound at 20-30 km/h and came to a full stop which messed up my alignment but i got it fixed. Every now and then when the car warms up and i put it into reverse or 1st gear...

Hit a snow lump pretty hard trying to avoid some bloke trying to cut in front of me but failing, car came to a complete halt and the steering rack was crooked, went to centre the tires and do an alignment.

Installed an aftermarket stereo, took me an hour and a half but it looks beautiful and the audio quality is well worth it.

Might be the fuel burning heater(FBH) it does let out a blue/black smoke from under the engine. Nothing to worry about as it has a sensor that kicks in when the temperature drops bellow 5.
