Didn't realise the outside temp only showing was one of the options. I'll have to investigate the button on the stalk somehow. If anyone knows how to check this out please let me know

Took it to a mate to look at it. Split hose causing the lack of power and he thinks the rubbing noise is the vcu bearing. next job then is to change the bearings and see if that stops the noise.

Rubbing noise seems to be coming from engine bay area. sounds like a dry rubbing noise, almost like brakes binding but from engine bay

Hi, The problem has been solved. 2 things, firstly, the main earth strap needed changing and secondly a new earth lead was run to the offside rear. This has now sorted everything out and all the lights are working again. Thanks to everyone for their input on this.

Hi Station house, Have replaced the fuses and checked the wiring as well. I have LED lights fitted so no bulb holder to check for corosion. UGH damned thing!!! Deep pockets and a weird sense of humour to be a landy owner. Any one else got any ideas???
