I was reading a rebuild thread by "300" where you actually commented a few times. There is a bolt that looks very similar to yours that he posted a pic of when he was working on the window wiper jets (page 2 or 3 from memory) wondered if that would jog a cog? From the same thread there was also...

My guess would be that they aren't oem but more likely to come from a bolt on part or replacement nuts and bolts used to replace ones cut off previously. Did you remove an accessory maybe that you've got no plans of refitting?

Question? How does DVLA treat barn finds as pressume they will not have been sorn for quite some time? Will there be a fine for that and lack of insurance if not sorned? Just wondered.....

I tended to use Paddocks and have always felt I've had good service. It's their courier Fedup Express I have the problem with. Got a tracking email from them so could see the goods sitting in the local depot not 20 miles from me for 5 feckin days (2 of those were the weekend) Got delight though...

Can't comment on quality of ex utility but would NEVER buy a motor with a low price and zero feedback from Fleabay! Remember no buyer protection on motors. That's just my opinion though.

+1 did this with mine and after a couple of coats came up a treat. Also did the wing mirror backs, grill and faded parts like ashtray cover on the dash. The stuff in the bottle not in the tin mind.

Think in hindsight with amount of welding done already would have been quicker and cheaper buying a better Landy! :doh: but can't admit that to the missus Lol Keep telling myself it's my first and use it as a learning curve. More like a bloody 90 degree bend tho :(

Bottom of the door posts are surprisingly fine. One of the brackets that fixes the bulkhead to outrigger was a bit rusted but was an easy repair. Think one of my concerns with even just welding these parts is that my welder ain't great on thin metals as not much adjustment. Did great on...

Faaaantastic thread! Just about to do this although I opted for YRM panels instead of making my own. From what you done I presume they have to be fully welded and I can't get away with plug welds? Did the welds not show through after painting or did you use filler? Started a thread earlier...
