Basically my td5 needs the transfer box overhauling and I have access to one from a disco 1 so I can keep on the road while I do the work. Does anyone know if they are the same. I've heard there is a sensor for the high low selector. How important is this. Thanks in advance.

Nice frosty morning so switched on the heated windscreen. Passenger side cleared beautifully. Then noticed the stream of smoke from drivers side bonnet hinge area. Opened bonnet to the drivers side wires trapped in the hinge an shorting out. Fixed and put out of harms way but now neither side...

Lay in bed this morning looking on this very forum as to why my disco 2 was higher on one side. Suspecting the ride height sensor started looking for parts then. BOOM. So guys. Where do I start an what else could be damaged.

Had the brakes feel like they locked up a couple times now but the wheels haven't. Pedal hasn't gone flat to the floor like a hose leak. Only seems to happen once a month then fine straight after. Any ideas??

What's the best and cheapest way to flush out the mayo oil from my disco td5 after the head gasket had gone. Still in process of rebuilding as waiting for a elring gasket.

Went out earlier in the lashing rain no problems at all until came to restart after doing the weekly battle around aldi. The three amigos ABS/TC/HDC decided to stay on after starting. Switched off an on. Only the ABS stayed on until I moved off then went. This got me thinking. What fault code...
