Is the fuel comp on the old td6.... mine says 22 to a gal no matter how a drive  it never moves. I've reset or many times but it's a waste of time. Other than doing a brim to brim there's no way of knowing.
I think it is anyway.... on the L322 the number plate lens on the bottom tailgate, no wonder they break at the screw as every time you close it it bangs the small lenses. The right side one on mine is broke, it really is a stupid design.
On an old 02 L322 td6 auto with just over 144000 I thought about a tuning box something called hawk (can't remember the bloody name )
The main thing concerning me is the chocolate box as it's dam near at its limit with the measly old 6 pot bm lump with only 170hp engine in something...
A friend bought an 05 l322 last week minus the side steps which the seller had. Seemingly the seller said they bought a few months ago but never put them on, my friend thinks he should have got them when buying the car but the seller said he'll sell him them or sell them elsewhere.
I think he...
It's an 02 mine's an 01 P38, mine needs the exhaust flexi but a bugger to fit, needs the ecu for the abs and maybe for the srs, now.
The mech I use has an 02 3.0 tdi auto he's selling he's did a lot of ie brakes, tyres among other stuff but said it's not running right but one he gets it right...
Put the old scrapper (00 p38 2.5 diesel) in for the mot earlier and failed on a blow at this, phone 2 local factors, they don't do them. Found then the bay but most don't have the flexi, just the cat with straight pipe, do I need it?
For a p38 as there wasn't one when I got it, somebody is selling one that has a max lift of 37cm but I don't think it'll be high enough..... what size do I need.
P38 in particular, mechanically I'm pretty much ok but strength and health wise debatable. Worked on many cars over the years nothing major apart from a 6sp gearbox a few months ago on a punto and vowed I wouldn't doo it again.
So how easy or hard is it work on these ie brakes, wishbone/...
On a 00 P38
I disconnected and cleaned both yellow connectors, took a lead off the battery but it's still on. I guess there's a fault somewhere then but what.
Don't have a decent code reader and 2 folk i asked are a 50 call out and could be up to 150 just to tell me, what now.
I think I'm the opposite of everybody else as that's what I get. Number 1 nearest the front has a bad leak but cold or hot starts fine so why do so many have it the other way and I don't.
On a W reg 2.5, if so it's leaking
I've got a photo but won't upload.... looking in from the front and right under the alt at the right side of the block, it's that the fuel/ diesel pump if so it's leaking.
Again this old P38 2.5 derv, dick turpin wants £62 inc vat plus can only buy a pack of 5 rubber seals at £13, you can't buy just 1
Should I get one from Rimmer, britpart ect
Ok an old P38
What I mean is... it's working yes but when put on the highest setting the symbol with car with the arrow on on the dash, it still lifts though, then when the buttons pressed to bring it down, the symbol does out and it goes down to normal.
When you press it to the motorway...
From the eas compressor, i put a seal kit in but after running wires from battery to test it, yes there's more air coming out but nowhere i doubt near the right amount. I know taking a valve out a tyre at about 30 it's a big enough hiss ect so i'd immagine 140odd would be some amount to be able...
I tried a search but nothing showed...
An old P38, I was thinking about a new one then somebody said rebuild it. I was looking at them at about £15 but are they worth it, has anybody did it or should I just get a new one.
Hello....I'm in Ayr and currently drive an 04 Mondy tdci, my only experience with 4x4s was a Mitsi pajero about 3 yrs ago, but felt more like a biggish car to me. I was told that landys were nothing that, and that not to expect driving comfort especially on a run like the car.
If I got one...
