I would like to put memory map or similar on lap top for use in Disco. would like to have GPS incorporated so i can follow my route. you know the dot that moves on the map with you. Can this be done, and what do i need. I have hand held garmin GPS very good. Mark

The link rod which connects to the radius arm its made from plastic. Mine broke last night super glued it back together be fine for last 200 miles. Went for new one cant get had to buy complete sensor. Any one made one out of stainless rod and say 2, 8mm nuts. Or see any problems i appreciate...

You can support the chassie and have jack under axel. we dont all carry axel stands, and you have to have air spring. It will take you half hour. Probably 15 mins on ramp with air tools. done one today

Is semi synthetic 75W 90 oil ok for my Disco TD5 manuel gearbox.

Ian not missing any points am i. Engine not runing top fluid up apply pressure to pedal slacken bleed screw press pedal tighten up bleed raise pedal and repeat several times. No need to have engine runing is there?

Have to jack the motor up to get it in. Could you do it at side of road with standard Disco jack.

I think my brake problem is due to a weak brake servo vacum pump. Can you confirm this is integeral with the alternator

run at on a day like today. how do i know if i need a regas, its pleasant but it dont make me shiver

Which would you buy and why. How good are they compared to main dealer set up. Or do you still end up going to main dealer when the going gets tough. Would one tell me what my brake problem is. Mark

Its was the fuel pump in the tank breaking down. But a landie specialist B4 i found pump ,said it could be cam timing. Also while searching for problem i found injector harness chafing on rocker box. New pump £240 incl from main dealer 3/4 hr to fit. Mark

Changed injector harness checked main harness for chaffing. seems ok Checked red ECU plug for oil nice and clean. All filtres are changed every 5000 miles. Can i try anything else or do i need to get a diagnostic done. Mark

i fitted new harness 23000 miles ago due to oil ingress. i now have the same tell taill missfire (but i could be wrong). I have the old harness, iam thinking off cleanig it and replacing the 2 O rings. Are they anything special. And most of all is there a permanent fix for this problem. Many...
