Just bench tested both starters and they are both knackered. The one that was fitted engages but doesnt spin...hence the click.... the one that came with the replacement engine doesnt do anything. New one is on its way. Well done lads.....

Check the small hose that connects to the nipple on the underside of the air intake manifold and goes up to a little black box of tricks on top of the passenger side wheel arch. If that is blocked, split or is not connected the car will become very lethargic..........
