Completely agree. A quarter of an amp will kill your battery to the point of not starting your engine quite quickly. Ideally an off radio will draw less than 5micro amps. All it should be doing is keeping its internal RAM alive.

Assuming youve wired it up right, sounds like you're gonna have to stick the ammeter on it and start pulling fuses to see what's draining it. Is it both batteries that's draining? What have you got wired off the second battery?

Will do. Haven't noticed any black smoke, although its me that's driving, so if it was just a little bit I probably wouldn't see it. Fuel filter, darn. I didn't change that at last service. Did everything else but I think the new fuel filter is still in the garage.
