theres no side movement , there is spring washers on ,& i put lock tight after cleaning the threads wiht brake spray & airline . think new bolts & washers sound like a plan . will keep posted thanks chaps treg mick

i put some silicone seal behind the plate & cleaned out the threads put locktight on bolts but seems to have slackened off again !

it doesunt look the same as this,has a plate with bolts & its those bolts that wind off slightly but yes 571235

the rear near side hub cap works loose & leaks oil , i have cleaned the threads & locktight .but still loosens off after a couple of weeks. what is this a symptom of ?

do 24v headlighs take 12v lamps & can i get the spring clips to hold them in with? anyone

have today put special grease into swivel house ! i wasunt sure how mutch to put in .so i put a 400 g cartridge in ,i put some in the top hole but mostly throught the drain hole via a grease nipple .this is an effort to stop the oil falling out down the brake disc cover & tyre .nothing came out...

there seems to be outer rims appear now & again on ebay ,but ime not sure how they secure ie do the inners differ ? it is only to make the landrover look a litte more the way it was ! have considered making some if i cant get some at the right price . ta regs mick

I have 1/2 ton lightweight ,&.would like to find out about headlight bezels & whats involved ? currently some poor chrome outers.how do i go about replacing to military ie can i fit outer rims to ordinary inners ? there does not seem to be mutch choice .but there was some on ebay last night...

well i did it today ! all went well. took the speedo house off too dont think i could have got the new seal back in otherwise .learned a lot and enjoyed myself too ,johnny walker on the radio guinness on the bonnet ! many thanks for the help men mutch appreciated ! just see how long these all...

thanks rob , there is a vidio on you tube with the front output, but no rear .i have this evening gone as far as removing the rear prop & taken out the slit pin .i was wondering how to hold still the assembly fast whilst undoing the nut ? i was hoping to leave the housing on but ! the speedos...

thanks ! did this , position ok now ! i was on the a steep slope this am & tested the HB,. ut the car still moves.i think new shoes .are Bermach ok ? also the trasfer box drive seals will have go in.the oil does not help .i hope these arent too difficult . reg mick

Please .the handbrake does not tighten any futher on the adjustment nut. Does this mean new shoes or is there some more slack to be had ? the shoes dont look bad but i have nothing to compare with . reg mick !

the clay underneath the mud stops the bottoming out , the mud on top fills the treads . special tracks slide about , got some on my 90, this place is exeptioal for mud ! hence anacodas whitch were barely legal won the day .many thanks anyway .regs mick

anaconda greenway tyres no longer but is there a grip out there to match at a budget ! see i have a farm landy with lots of mud , problem is the tyres fill with mud & slip against the clay sub soil in the gateways & no more will landy go ! if i put dumper tyre on i cant go to town on market day...
