    Subtle styling

I've got a L322 rather than P38, but there are a few subtle things you can do on either which aren't too 'pimp'. I changed my side indicators to smoked ones as I think the normal orange ones look like a horrible after-thought out of the factory. I do have chrome side pipes, but I bought it with...

    car insurance quotes.. Jees!

I'm paying over £700 for my L322, but then I'm only 28 and have only 1 years NC, so I think that's alright. Although £500 excess is a bit, well, excessive! Still much cheaper to insure a RR than the average german salon (bmw 3 series etc) for me, guess RR's are less of a boy racer car!

L322 Range Rover Low Coolant Warning

4.0 petrol L322?? No such thing - if its 2002 then either its an early 4.4 L322 or its a one of the last 4.0 P38.

Magnets - the new snake oil?

Hi all, I stumbled across this item on ebay whilst looking for something entirely different. I am the ultimate sceptic and so I'm assuming that this is another snake oil product, but what do you all think? I'm fairly science-y myself, and I can see how in theory this 'might' work in theory...

L322 2004 alloys and wheel nuts!! can someone help????

More of a concern may be tyres. Did they come with tyres already fitted? If so they will be too small for a L322 and you'll need new ones! (no this is not a joke)

Did i pay too much or not?

Sounds like a good price to me - depends what the milage was? None of those problems are too expensive to fix, then you should have a nice motor afterwards. Based on what you have said though that sounds like a fair deal.

    Door handle not working! Argh!

Guys, Maybe it is fate and my rangey doesn't want to leave me - I've got a potential buyer coming to visit in minutes few. My drivers door handle has stopped working this morning since he called me. Literally could not be worse timing. Obviously not going to be fixed in the next couple of...

Vogue tv screen? can you make it digital? How?

Yes it can be done. It's been covered at length previously if you search the forum. But really how often do you actually watch the TV in your car? I hardly ever put mine on as when the car is stopped I'm normally getting out to go somewhere!

    Slow Puncture?

Cheers for all the advise guys. I'll have it checked at a local tyre place, see if they can spot anything - always better to go into these things armed with a bit of knowledge though eh, rather than walk in and them tell you you need a new wheel when you don't etc!

    Slow Puncture?

Hello all, Bit of a 2 part thread. First looking for a bit of adivce. I'd been having savage fuel economy for about a week, so I checked my tyre pressures and found my back left to be right down to 21 PSI. Blew it up and economy was back to normal which was a relief. However I'm now a bit...

strange vibrating at 50mph with poor fuel consumption

Just sounds like your wheels need balancing to me. Mine had the same problem, £15 for local garage to balance wheels and ta-da! fixed! Seems to be a fairly common problem and your symptoms are spot on. As for economy. Welcome to owning a RR. 18 around town is about right I'm afraid!!

    What if....??

I'm not sure about the whole technical aspect of fitting a different engine, but from a power prespective I would have thought a smaller engine like that would be lacking in torque which really is what you need when lugging around a 2.5 ton beast. Ignore the top engine BHP figures as these don't...

    L322 Steering Wheel Auto Adjust

Bit of a thread-resurrect, but I have just managed to fix mine today myself. Feeling rather chuffed at doing it without having to splash a penny of cash! As per most cases, it was the crappy plastic bracket which had snapped. Its a total pain in the ass to get to to fasten it back on - I used...

    l322 advice on wheels 19 / 20 / 22's ?

19 or 20 should be fine. They made those sizes as standard anyway, so I'd be suprised if there is much difference in ride comfort. When you start looking at 22s etc then you might start having problems, but I've heard really mixed things - some people say it ruins the ride, whilst others have...

    wheels.......

probably need to be at least 26" to get the full effect required. p.s. bored this morning by chance?

    Love it.

On paper about £900-1000 I think. But haggle a bit, they are open to a bit of negotiation I found ;-) Also not sure if your pipes on a SC are set out in the same layout under the car, so might have to knock something up specially for you, but I know they have done SC ones before so shouldn't be...

    Paint Job-How much ????

I had my whole offside painted (got key'd deep!) for less than £400, but that was mates rates. Most of the places I was calling for quotes were saying something between £650 and 900. So at a rough guess I'd have thought the whole 'bottom half' of the car would be at least a grand.
