Iam thinking of buying a l322 which one ?? td6 or a v8 on lpg which year 04 onwards???? £15000 is max buget

V8 LPG for a real RR experience. But make sure it's a good LPG system fitted. (there are plenty of posts about this on here). MPG on gas makes it pretty comparable if not better than diesel.
The TD6 (which I have) is a great BMW engine though. tough, pulls well adn pretty indestructible. However the Gearboxes need looking after (known fault - make sure it gets an oil change every so often). However fairly noisy, agricultural compared to V8. MPG around 22-25 mixed/urban with 28-30 MPG on Motorway. Powerboxes or a good re-map can make it a bit nippier and are worth it.
